PolySeal

Polyurethane joint sealant with high flexibility retained over a wide range of temperatures and excellent resistance to acids, alkalies, hydrocarbons, and deicing salts. It is a two-component, non-extended polyurethane. PolySeal meets the requirements of Federal Specification TT-S-00227E.

Chemical Resistance

Splash & spillage of mineral acids, alkalies, aliphatic & aromatic solvents, salt, oil and water.

Joint Preparation

All foreign matter and concrete laitance must be removed by sawing and/or sandblasting prior to installation of sealant. Both concrete and steel joint surfaces should be dry and free of dust at time of installation. Steel-faced joints should also be free of paint primer, oil, etc.

Priming

PolySeal does NOT need a primer.

Mixing and Application

PolySeal is designed for application through mixing equipment capable of metering the components (2:1 by volume) and automatically mixing and extruding sealant.

Hand Mixing

Premix Part B then add entire contents of Part A, and mix thoroughly for approximately 5 minutes manually or with a paddle powered by low-speed drill. Apply with a caulking gun, or manually.

Storage

Store out of weather and direct sunlight at temperature below 100°F.
